Preparing for JAMB can be super stressful and it’s really common to feel intimidated and unsure about how to approach it.

Start where you’re most confused 🧠

Studying is a little bit like making an investment — and you want to invest where you’ll get good returns. When you’re studying you’ll get the highest returns (i.e. gain the most knowledge) by studying the subject or topic you’re the worst at. 📈

So pick your absolute worst topic, and start writing down everything you know about it.

You’ll probably get stuck pretty quickly. That’s okay. 🙋🏾‍♀️

After getting an understanding of the topic, it’s time to see if you can apply it. The first time you’re doing a past paper you’ll probably get stuck a lot, and need to check the answers often.

You’ll probably make quite a few mistakes, but that’s totally fine. Just correct it, and make sure you understand where you went wrong. ✅

At this point you’ll have a fairly good understanding of both the content and how it will be tested. Which means there’s just one thing left. It’s time to practice, practice, practice. ✍🏾

Time yourself doing a JAMB past paper ⏰
